Get Into The Holiday Spirit With These Local Events!

Can you believe that November is almost over? With only a little over a week until the last month of 2015 arrives, it is the perfect time to start looking for family friendly holiday events in the Orange County area. Mark your calendar for these fun, local events to help get into the holiday spirit.

The Irvine Park Railroad – Annual Christmas Train to Meet Santa Claus starts its run on November 27th and will run through December 23rd. The whole family is invited to take a magical night ride through Irvine Regional Park to meet Santa Claus and get your picture taken. There will be tons of other activities as well, including story time with Mrs. Claus, a moon bounce, Christmas cookie decorating, carnival games, ice fishing, and much more!

A Christmas Carol will be playing at the South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa from November 27th through December 27th. All of the familiar Dickens from Tiny Tim to Ebenezer Scrooge characters will bring Nineteenth century London to Orange County. This show provides the perfect opportunity to show your children where some of today’s Christmas traditions originated.

On December 6th, head out to Moreno’s Restaurant Banquet Hall in Orange to enjoy the 4th Annual Christmas Boutique! People of all ages will enjoy a fun day of shopping to pick up gifts for special hosts and teachers, stocking stuffers, handmade gifts, children’s gifts, sweet tamales, Christmas cookies, and more!
