The warm summer weather is the best reason to head outside in the local community to look for fun activities that the whole family can enjoy together. Finding the perfect farmers market not only allows you to enjoy the outdoors, but it also allows you to stock up your kitchen with fresh fruits and vegetables. Check out these local Orange County farmers markets that are sure to have everything you need for your next family meal.
The Yorba Linda Farmers Market takes place from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturdays on the corner of Imperial and historic Main Street. Established in 1998, the market has everything that you are looking for, including crafts, fresh flowers, prepared foods, and local honey. There is also one of the largest arrays of fresh produce from local growers.
Fullerton Downtown Farmers’ Market takes place every Thursday from 4:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. anything that you need for your house can be found at the market, including hand crafted items, food vendors, farm fresh produce, kid’s activities and more. There is also a wine and beer garden to enjoy while you shop around, as well as live entertainment from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the Downtown Plaza on Wilshire Avenue.
The Irvine Regional Park Farmers Market happens every Tuesday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. and is affiliated with Orange County Farm Bureau Sponsored Certified Farmers’ Markets. Certified famers’ markets are the best place to find genuine farmers who are selling nuts, fruits, and vegetables.
